The Baker didn't. He found out upon getting to the rental car counter in a city far, far away. Looks like he's renting a bike for the weekend. This is not exactly setting a very busy weekend off on a good note. Damn Devil Horse and Death God!
The last time I let mine inadvertently expire was while I was pregnant with B2. I think pregnancy is a fantastic excuse! I found out when we realized that a Honda Civic simply won't fit an adult with serious back issues and two kids in big car seats. We were car shopping and I handed over my license for a test drive. Nothing like taking a very tiny infant for a long day at the DMV. Ack!
