A Lovely Sunday Ride

What is a Lovely Sunday Ride, you ask?

The last Sunday of each month we'll leave the stresses of the world behind and take a  *Lovely Sunday Ride < insert sound of birds chirping >. We'll explore a different Denver neighborhood each month with a leisurely bike ride which begins in one of our remarkable city parks and ends at a coffeeshop, tea shop, bakery or ice cream shop.

This is a come as you are ride, unless you're wearing a full spandex bike gear kit - in that case, go home and change.  The routes will not necesarily be kid-friendly so I'd suggest you take this as an opportunity to take a break from the day-to-day and enjoy a grown-up afternoon out.  All you need is a bicycle and a lovely attitude!

Biking and Baking will be the source for info and updates on the ride.  A week prior, I'll post the details including time (we'll try and stick with an 11:30am start time) and route details.  If you have suggestions on where to start, where to ride and where to end, send them my way!

The first ride will be May 30 provided I get interest, so please comment here, on facebook or send me a message if you're in!

**Ride at your own risk**

*Thanks to AG for the inspiration for the name.  She rode a Pashley Princess at one of our local bike shops last week and declared about the ride, "That was simply lovely!"

  1. I can't do the 30th as we're staying in a hotel near Boulder for the Bolder Boulder, but I'm in for the next one.
